Each year the Hall of Fame Foundaation  honors a team in the school year 25 years previous to the annual awards banquet. Nominations are encouraged and should be mailed to the Hall of Fame, PO Box 83972, Lincoln, 68501-3972. Deadline for nominations is Oct. 1 for the next awards year.

The corresponding banquet year-honored team eligibility years are:

2010 Banquet--Teams from 1985-86 School Year
2011 Banquet--Teams from 1986-87 School Year
2012 Banquet--Teams from 1987-88 School Year
2013 Banquet--Teams from 1988-89 School Year
2014 Banquet--Teams from 1989-90 School Year
