Mick Anderson, Wahoo

Mick started his coaching career at Ralston High School as an assistant coach before moving on to Wahoo. It was here where his legendary basketball program produced a 114-game winning streak which ranks third nationally and Class B State Champions six years out of eight consecutive appearances at the state tournament. In the period from 1988 to 1994, his teams compiled a total of 177 wins and three losses. Mick coached the Warriors to 16 Capitol Conference Championships, five All Class Top Ten Rankings and four of the top seven scoring averages of all time regardless of class. He was selected 1990-91 Coach of the Year by both the Omaha World Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star.
