Maurtice Ivy, Omaha Central 1980-84. First-team All-Metro and conference scoring leaader all four years. State scoring leader for three years. Starred on girls basketball Class A state championship teams in 1983-84, making game-winning free throws to help Central win its first state title. All-state three years. Ranks sixth in all-time girls scoring (1,926), Class A state tournament record holder for points in one tourney (80) and field goals in one game (14). Invited to Olympic Trials. Won seven gold medals at state track meet and was part of the team that holds the 4x400 state record. Outstanding college career. |
